[A New King]

Umm

Okay so I guess you only make jazz and classical music. Sounds like a battle raging on rather than a new king being crowned in a ceremony. Looks like your music doesn't get many reviews. It should get more. Oh okay now comes the happy part. I can see a new king being crowned. Sounds like it he would be a good king too. Those are some impressive sounds. You know how to use your music program well. My program lacks any good classical sounds and take forever to make. I think your song has a lot of emotion. Sad, suspense, happy, epic, etc. So 5/5 voting by me and 10/10 review. Great composition and you gotta tell me how you made these sounds with your music program. I hate messing around with all these dials! Bye for now.

Yes, jazz and classical is my most pro style.

With the first part of the track, I was hoping to give the listener an idea of a great hero fighting against a colosus of some sort, or some kind of battle. Then, when the fast string marcs come in, he's on horseback, raging toward his enemy. At the last second, an rrow pierces his horse, and his blade swings towards his enemy. He lives, and he is crowned king since he is a great hero and heir to the throne. Son of the current dead king.

About people not reviewing.. I can answer that. People, in this day of age, are generally lazy. There's not much more to it.

strange title

Well this sounds very ambient. Maybe a little too much. Usually a song is made with the sounds, but yours isn't really a song. Has that creepy kind of feel. So why did you call this song 6? I don't know how to review this song so umm yeah 5/5 voting and 8/10 review. Bye for now

You really love amazing grace. Too many though and I really can't tell much of a difference in any of them. Very short, good playing but it all comes down to you didn't compose this song. I can't give you a 10 because not your and not a 9 cause so short its like a loop. Try something new next time. New song, your own composition and you know what I mean. 5/5 voting keeping your score at 5 and 8/10 review. Bye for now

Thanks. There actually are 8 different piano parts, but you can't tell because it's a lot of arpeggiation and the volume control in finale sucks, so that explains the clutter and the blah. It was for a Music Theory project that I got a 97/100 on. Thanks for the review.

[It Was Fun (Original Concept)]

Sweet..yeah cute and mellow

1930s hmm my music history sucks so I have no clue how 1930 music sounded like. I just know 1950 new music style sucked with john cage stupid song. Its cute and the cello plucking I think is great being on the left speaker. Lots of plucking going on which gets the song feeling perky and jumpy. I'm usually very lenient on diversity for classical since beethoven and all those other famous musicians had such repetitive music it pissed me off sometimes. :) So I actually didn't know the rule for panning in orchestra music until I read the previous review. I guess we all learn something new everyday. Overall a 5/5 voting raising your 4.25/5 to something. We will see. Oh and why you didn't get a 10 on originality is because for some reason some parts of your song sound like zelda ocarina of time. I know it wasn't intentional I think but hey originality = new. Sorry but you got your 5/5 so still good. Bye for now

Remix I suppose of Daniel Kandi track

Sounds better than the other Nova song. Starts cool with that atmosphery sound. You really need to make your songs from scratch so your name can be on the track...not as the remix artist. Do you make remixes for TR records as a job or are you hoping to submit it to them which they may accept or not? I guess if you are a hired remix artist than I guess remixing songs all the time isn't so bad. You say you uploaded the full version but at the same time it is a demo? Well good remixing skills. I'll wait for your future songs made from scratch (my terms mean you make the notes and rhythm, no ddl loops or use of soundfont, and any other ddl programs where you can borrow other ppl stuff cept drums of course). Love them drums. So 5/5 vote which won't change your current score and a 9/10 review. I save the 10/10 for you know what. Bye for now

Cheers mate, i had a great original in line, but my computer just can't handle the amount of stuff i'm using, like reverb, eq, compressors, etc.

[LoZ-Ocarina Medley for Piano]

Question

A well done classical song however....you didn't make this did you? By the sound of the previous reviews it looks like this song was made by someone else and you basically are just playing it again. Tell me if I'm wrong and I'm really sorry if you really did compose everything...meaning the notes, rhythm, no ddl loops, no ddl anything, just you and your keyboard with some mastering with the music program. Particular emphasis on "Soundfont" which is really for people who can't make their own music. So you have really good ears to play a song just by listening to it many times. I can tell what notes are played separately by ear but when many chords are going than my ears are useless. Kudos to you for your musical playing talent...and well vigorous clapping if you composed the song. If not well than clapping for whoever made the song. So 5/5 voting but 9/10 review. If you made it than imagine my 9 turning to a 10. Bye for now

"LoZ" is the acronym for "Legend of Zelda". These pieces (seperate of course) were originally composed by the composer for that game. However, in this recording, I composed a piano medley of the pieces. To answer you directly, this was played by me on my keyboard fed into my laptop running through an orchestral VSTi on a Piano patch setting, and I applied the compression and mastering.
Secondly, soundfonts are simply a MIDI function that allows for the use of instrument sounds seperate from the tradition General MIDi patches; they have nothing to do with loop-based recording or arpeggiators -- just to clarify on that.

Music is in my blood and I solemnly uphold the sense of true music composition without having to resort using copies of others' work to call my own; even when I compose a rendition of someone else's music, I am sure to treat it the same as I would treat my own original work.

Did you compose all of this? Like the notes, rhythm and everything? Wow that's awesome. Short song but looks like it was hard too make. Not sure what Laureate means. Hey this one is very different from your other songs. Where did you get the vox? Well she is a good singer but off key a bit. She needs to work on her voice better...but I shouldn't be saying that since she's a whole league ahead of my vocal skills. Your definately right that songs take forever to make. However music making is such a fun hobby. You can't stop making music. Stack up like what I'm doing now and post on a different site. At least on a new site you won't have the pressure to make songs at a fast rate. Plus no pressure in always making stellar songs for your fans on NG. You can be more creative now. So you got some crazy almost heavy metal like guitar to start the song. Some good special effects here and there. The drums seem to fit your gentle mood. Two times in a row you switched from the loud fast ravy like style. This doesn't sound ravy at all which is awesome. I'm happy that your trying new stuff out. LOL love your description. "Here you are 2 new songs" Well interesting. I think you meant Here you have 2 new songs. :) Oh did I hear the word "Let's go" again? I can sense the hip hop parts but not the hardcore stuff. Hey I like to give you and all artist leaving NG a great score as a goodbye present. You've done alot for NG site and the admins should pay you money for attracting more ppl to NG. Well the first "song" is a mix between Pop, Electro adn Hip Hop (mainly for the drums)
Hardcore?
There are many kind of Hardcore..maybe when you hear the word hardcore you think about those genres like Gabber or Hardstyle..normally that stuff is pretty boring and uninspired (personal opinion)..
My Hardcore wants to be an evolution of the legendary "Oldskool Hardcore/Rave" (the precursor to Drum 'N Bass) mixed with VG music,Modern DnB,Eurodance and Modern Hardcore (Example: "Shining in the Ecstasy" from Sparky or "I've got peace" from Joey Riot)

woah 2 songs quickly :)

Ahh your addiction to rave continues. :) Heart of Sword....is this a remix? Well I tell you right now before I get into the gritty, I think remixes are not as hard to make compared to songs from scratch. If this song isn't a remix...my bad and sorry. Okay I think I've heard some of the special effects before in your previous songs. Starts low and slow just like your burning love song and slowly buildup to something great. "Let's go" Hmm I swear I think I heard you use that word in one of your songs. Eternal flames? Not sure. Not one of your fast songs for sure. Kinda soothing...not ravy like. I think atmosphery when I listen to this. I never knew the heart of rave was so gentle. Wait a sec. I just realized that you have two songs with almost identical names. Running out of unique titles? :) So as always, your songs are very clear. How do you do it? I think my music program has the same voice fx as you used to end the song. I like it. FX sounds always sound cool. So in short..I like this song because I like mellow songs. 5/5 voting and well 9/10 review. (If the song is not a remix than change the 9/10 to 10/10) Time to review your Heart of Sword...Man that's a cheesy title. LOL Bye for now

Wait, This an update?

So the final version has finally come. There is some fuzz throughout the song. Not sure if that was intentional. So I notice the bass you add in is the new feature. I think the bass was not fully used. Looks like the bass was just to make the song that much longer. Oh and your song will be zeroed. If you have not noticed a blammer comes usually on Tuesday and blams not just your song but every song that has a high score. So well if your lucky he/she might miss yours. Just review lots of other peoples songs and ask them to review your songs. Grades mean crap on NG. Plus some ppl on NG have multiple accounts and keep fiving their own songs. You could always post your music on a different site. So overall a 5/5 voting and 9/10 review. Hopefully your future songs will be more diverse. I got bored when the bass started coming in. Thanks for the review, I'll make another account & 5 my thing so the "blammer" won't be able to hurt my score. :D This was supposed to be the full version, yes, but I guess I'm not improving that much. I'm currently making an industrial piece. The demo should be done at the end of this week, if I'm not too busy. It should be a lot better than this.
