Those instruments ...

The instruments sounds similar to buzz ballad. Maybe not exactly, but they are happy sounding like buzz ballad. Did you put a filter on the instruments? I need to raise the volume up more to get it to play at a decent volume. Your good with using those cymbal clashes. I think the drums are a bit plain in this song.

That wah sounding guitar is a good lead instrument. Sounds like you used a 80s keyboard here too. Again your song needs vocals cause the song loops. So overall I enjoyed this. Got to take a trip back to the 80s when John Travolta was still a good dancer. 5 vote and 9 rev. Bye for now.

I'm sorry about the volume thing - I didn't realize that glitch until after submitting.
This song took a lot out of me - I'm happy with the way it's structured, even if the individual sounds bother me a bit. It's actually my mom's cell phone ring tone now!

This song does resemble buzz ballad in that it = synth city. Similar pads and delay techniques.

This is hot

Sounds a bit like general rock. This song has to have vox and then it would be super. It tends to loop making it perfect for today's pop songs with vocals. Lots of funky instruments used with some panning going on. That fade out is a bit too long. I really don't have much to say. Again only missing the vocals, but everything else sounds great. 5 vote and 9 review. Bye for now

This song is a bit old, and I've since updated it, although it still lacks vocals. I'm glad you picked up on a few of the tricks I used to thicken the sound (such as certain pannings).

Clapping

Been a while since I heard the kick n clap drum loop used in a great way. Reminds me of mgrac3 style...which for some reason he deleted his account. Well the drums sound like fl. Can fl modify drum loops like change the pitch of the kick one octave down? Lots of light sounds here. Even the bass sounds happy. When everything comes together, I get the feeling of wanting to hop up and down. :) Not jump, but hop like a bunny. Weird.

Okay so the composition doesn't seem ridiculously hard to make, but like you said this must have been fun to make. I've always wanted to make a mashing of the keyboard like song, but then that just wouldn't be like my other songs that I'd get blammed like crazy. :) For some very odd reason this reminds me of Celtic dancing. By the looks of your score I guess people like more hardcore happy dance (I consider this more dance than trance). Oh well. I got a boxing glove now. :) More voting power. I wish I had SBB boxing glove though. 10 stars for happiness and a 5 vote because umm happiness and happy music is the best on NG...my opinion. I am so biased aren't I. Bye for now

That great way would probably either be the 3-step or the way I did the snare roll, which I'm pretty proud of, for a song I did for fun. :D Though... mgrac3 deleted his account? o_O So he asked an admin or something?

Huh, they sound like FL Studio? Not at all. XD They're drums from Nexus, and don't at all sound like FL Studio drums. :P And yes, it's quite light, that's what I was going for, of course. :D

And you should go ahead and do a mashing of the keyboard type song. XD Even if you don't submit it, you could make a news post with a link to a site that you've uploaded it to, or something. And people could comment there, and you could even delete the link or the news post itself if you don't like what you're getting. ;)

I was thinking this could be more dance than trance, too, actually... I just submitted in trance anyway. :P Hooray for boxing gloves - though wouldn't you want one that said "Music-story" on it instead of SBB's? :P

Good a song other than techno/trance on the top 5. I think yours is the first hip hop song to make the top 5 weekly since the NG update. I like the piano. Has a depressing feel to it. The strings only make the song more emotional. Now all you need is lyrics and this would be really special. Congrats on the top 5. Bye for now

Be the first to respond to my rev to you. I like this version better. More action involved and still happy. Love those synths though I think you used some of them already. 1:35 yeah some energy. It doesn't last long though. :( I think your going diverse in this song. A return back to the main theme. I really love them fx you used. Very well done. Take away that bass near the end of the song. Too generic. Use a better bass. Besides that this one has some nice beats. If your making a 3rd one you will need to change the lead instrument so it doesn't sound like the same song. Put more of the energetic parts in and for longer. 10 stars and 5 vote. I have more voting power now. :) Bye for now.

I never liked trigun because it had really messed up characters. That doesn't mean I hate the music too. Version 2.1? So the song tends to loop, but your version sounds better than the original. I like that bass. Makes the song all come together. Is there a old 80s keyboard in this song? At 37 seconds is when I hear it. Sounds quite nice. Whenever you play the high pitch guitar solo I just picture you raising a guitar above your head and playing. A short song so a short review. I'm gonna have to take a star off for lack of originality since a remix. Besides that a 9 star rating and 5 vote for some awesome hot strings.

Okay a nice lead instrument. Good fx used. Song starts rather slow, but burst into something like happy mediumcore if that's a word. I like the use of crescendos, but I'm expecting a bigger climax. Drums are good. I'm assuming you made this song to relax to. Somewhat repetitive, but very charming. I'm sure younger kids would like this. I don't see stars in this song, just a happy dancing kid jumping around. There aren't too many songs for the younger audience on NG (except for ska which has a lot of them...I like that genre). Anyway, maybe use some panning...or if you did make it more obvious cause I couldn't tell. At 1: 46 I notice some quick thumping in the background. What kind of percussion is that? Overall a 10 rev. cause I see improvement in your musical projects so I like the effort. I'll match the good rev. score with a good vote of 5. Bye for now.

happy medium core haha yeah I understand what you mean - as for the title , that was rushed i was listening to a song called the moon - italo bros and i like their style so i just named mine the stars haha. Yeah I didn't use panning... at 1:46 that thumping sound almost like tapping a desk isnt percusion well it is but it came from filter editing (i guess something happend with the out and fx filters and it just made that noise I couldnt fix that...) thanks for the review, check your email :[]

Hey very nice demo.

Finally a hip hop song that someone made from scratch with decent vocals. So many hip hop songs on NG are good, but lack vocals or I should say good non cheesy vocals. Your very fortunate to have a good voice. I can't wait for the final version. You might be the first person on NG that I download a hip hop song. I'm not downloading this one since unfinished. Yeah, I get told that I sound like a lot of people in the industry. It just so happens that I also battle rap on streets and shit like that, so I gotta sound the way I do. Thanks for listening. You should ask him to rev. this song. This song is quite mellow. The guitar is old school bringing back fond memories. Sax too! You even got the twinkle instrument which I don't know the name of. Could this be a oasis song? The ending is wierd since even with the fade out the song doesn't feel like it should end yet. Those are some unique drums you used. Never heard anything like them until now. My computer is no good right now. Every song on NG fuzzes so I'm buying a new computer soon. Good job on this. I couldn't figure out an ending so as i say when all else fails FADE. I didn't think the drums where that diverse. Everything on ng fuzzes on the pc or mac. It might just be the soundcard since you use it so damn much;) If you just get a new soundcard it would save you a whole lot of money. My forte huh..... I would belive that if i got a crap load more reviews on my rock songs and higher scores. so far my Chill-o-Matic song has 10 revs and a 4.45 or something score, so by going off of that i would think house is my forte. But i could be wrong. Thanx for the rev.
