Hot piano. SEXY!!!!! Erm I didn't just say that?

Grand piano! It doesn't sound artificial, but the real instrument. Another piano playing duet? Enchanting style. Tends to drag a bit. Love that blowing fx sound. How many pianos are in this song? I think I heard 3 in total. Xylophone too? I have not heard that instrument in like 5 years. Maybe it isn't a xylophone, but it awfully comes close to it. Hmm, as usual not fond of fade out endings. I have to agree with the previous review. This is lacking some diversity. Change the beat around. Make the piano go crazy fast than really slow in some parts. Overall, keep the good work going. Like DJ x posed where have you been? Congrats on the song being used in a flash. Have fun making music. Bye for now.

x-Exodus-X responds:

hey, thanks for the great review! yeah, i guess the song is mostly all about the piano :P next time i will focus on all the other instruments too! where have i been, huh? well, now that school has started again, i really dont have much time for making music, it's just homework, cross country, dinner, food/rest, more homework, then sleep. once again, thanks for the great review, i'll check your page out right now!

Those instruments ...

The instruments sounds similar to buzz ballad. Maybe not exactly, but they are happy sounding like buzz ballad. Did you put a filter on the instruments? I need to raise the volume up more to get it to play at a decent volume. Your good with using those cymbal clashes. I think the drums are a bit plain in this song.

That wah sounding guitar is a good lead instrument. Sounds like you used a 80s keyboard here too. Again your song needs vocals cause the song loops. So overall I enjoyed this. Got to take a trip back to the 80s when John Travolta was still a good dancer. 5 vote and 9 rev. Bye for now.

Turning-Japanese responds:

I'm sorry about the volume thing - I didn't realize that glitch until after submitting.
This song took a lot out of me - I'm happy with the way it's structured, even if the individual sounds bother me a bit. It's actually my mom's cell phone ring tone now!

This song does resemble buzz ballad in that it = synth city. Similar pads and delay techniques.

Thanks for your attention to detail!

This is hot

Sounds a bit like general rock. This song has to have vox and then it would be super. It tends to loop making it perfect for today's pop songs with vocals. Lots of funky instruments used with some panning going on. That fade out is a bit too long. I really don't have much to say. Again only missing the vocals, but everything else sounds great. 5 vote and 9 review. Bye for now

Turning-Japanese responds:

Hooray for a timely response from me!
This song is a bit old, and I've since updated it, although it still lacks vocals. I'm glad you picked up on a few of the tricks I used to thicken the sound (such as certain pannings).
And thank you, as always for your review!

Well...

Too many remixes of this basshunter on NG that people get bored of hearing it. That aside, your remix sounds similar to the other remixes. No surprise really. You use fl correct? At 1:44 secs in I like that rising atmosphery instrument. A bit generic since I have heard other fl made songs that use that effect. Personally I don't get tired of hearing it since it sounds nice.

Technical wise I like the volume variations going on. Maybe use some panorama. At 2:23 I like how you introduce the lead instrument. Crossfade I suppose? I think the piano is beautiful. Wish you used the piano more and closer to a lead role.

Lastly the drums. There okay. Could use a bit more variation. Kick n clap drum loop is dragged too long. Small spurts of the snare drum doesn't add a huge diverse factor along with the kick only drum loop. That's all I got to say. Your song gots a nice score of 4.45. It should go up now. 5 vote and 9 stars. (as my personal rule remixes can not get a 10 star from me since lacks originality) Bye for now

Clapping

Been a while since I heard the kick n clap drum loop used in a great way. Reminds me of mgrac3 style...which for some reason he deleted his account. Well the drums sound like fl. Can fl modify drum loops like change the pitch of the kick one octave down? Lots of light sounds here. Even the bass sounds happy. When everything comes together, I get the feeling of wanting to hop up and down. :) Not jump, but hop like a bunny. Weird.

Okay so the composition doesn't seem ridiculously hard to make, but like you said this must have been fun to make. I've always wanted to make a mashing of the keyboard like song, but then that just wouldn't be like my other songs that I'd get blammed like crazy. :) For some very odd reason this reminds me of Celtic dancing. By the looks of your score I guess people like more hardcore happy dance (I consider this more dance than trance). Oh well. I got a boxing glove now. :) More voting power. I wish I had SBB boxing glove though. 10 stars for happiness and a 5 vote because umm happiness and happy music is the best on NG...my opinion. I am so biased aren't I. Bye for now

Karco responds:

That great way would probably either be the 3-step or the way I did the snare roll, which I'm pretty proud of, for a song I did for fun. :D Though... mgrac3 deleted his account? o_O So he asked an admin or something?

Huh, they sound like FL Studio? Not at all. XD They're drums from Nexus, and don't at all sound like FL Studio drums. :P And yes, it's quite light, that's what I was going for, of course. :D

And you should go ahead and do a mashing of the keyboard type song. XD Even if you don't submit it, you could make a news post with a link to a site that you've uploaded it to, or something. And people could comment there, and you could even delete the link or the news post itself if you don't like what you're getting. ;)

I was thinking this could be more dance than trance, too, actually... I just submitted in trance anyway. :P Hooray for boxing gloves - though wouldn't you want one that said "Music-story" on it instead of SBB's? :P

Well, glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the review and the high ratings, Music-story. :)

Well Mr. Carrot hello

Looks like this song is doing quite well in the dance genre score wise. So the song starts kinda slow. The drums are soothing and the instruments are of the light mood. That bass sounds pretty good. This song sounds like a drum show since the drums are the loudest in this song. Okay, a relaxing song. Hmm looks like your song is suffering the same thing mine is. More votes than downloads. Weird. Well I'm just gonna make it so you get 14 votes, but no ddl from me. I'm more into the fast pace happy dances. 5 vote making your song move ahead of mine. :) Minue 1 star point for being repetitive especially with the drums. Bye for now

All smiles

Okay for your first audio you shouldn't be like "I have arrived watch how great I am" kind of attitude. Heck you should never be like that. I like some of the funky instruments. The vox still needs improving. Good practice though so I know you will get much better in the future. Lol Up for another red bull. Haha. Your awesome. This is a hilarious song. Since your first audio and you weren't shy at showing off your mediocre vox, piano, and drum skills I'll give you a 8/10 rev. and a 5 vote. I respect guys who aren't afraid to show what they got. Keep them coming. I'm loving it.

Cool

I heard of this style of music, but never actually got to hear it. Has a lot of fuzz bringing the party style. The part at 1:04 is nice, but you quickly return back to the main theme. Hmm again something new at the 2 minute mark. This one tends to last longer. So I'm noticing a pattern of ABACADAA'A

So the song is long and usually long songs are harder to make. Good job on this. The vox is way too distorted to hear the words, but really I don't want to know what the vox is saying. Maybe a tad bit too many A themes which tended to drag the song. This is one of the better dance songs so keep the good work going. 10 stars and 5/5 vote. (your prev. score was 4.52 before my vote which should raise it up) Bye for now

Yeah

Good a song other than techno/trance on the top 5. I think yours is the first hip hop song to make the top 5 weekly since the NG update. I like the piano. Has a depressing feel to it. The strings only make the song more emotional. Now all you need is lyrics and this would be really special. Congrats on the top 5. Bye for now

Zajed responds:

yea thank greeksta for the piano, well hip hop on the top 5 is really rare so we are proud of it lol
thanks for the love we appreciate it

Zajed, Greeksta

Ahh dude!

WOw your way up their in the top 50 all time. That list is strange since the next week no one is there anymore except for like 5 songs. Is this a remake of your previous song? Another ambient song got #1 on the top 50 list. Ambient is getting much more popular on NG...it was already popular from before. I'm not sure what you mean by realistic drums for this song? I think all your songs have realistic drums. Hmm, the nice violin pizzicato. At 1:05 I like the fx that comes in. Sounds more like heaven stuff. Since I don't know much about ambient...can ambient be diverse or must it be repetitive? I wonder if it is possible to get the listener relaxing in a ever changing ambiance? I guess that fuzzy fx was a tad bit too loud, but everything else looks nice. The ending is near perfect. You should have just ended with that last chord, but you sneak in a last chord before the song ended making the ending slightly flawed. No big deal though. Easy to fix that. 5 vote and 10 stars. Your building up quite a profile on NG. To the top ehh? :) Bye for now.
