Makes me laugh

The beat is so mean it scares me. I love it when you yell rooooooooooooooooooooooottttttttss. :) The common voice by bad man incorp. I know that whenever you make music or collab with something I'm going to hear vocals. I turned the speakers up real loud. Almost blew my ears up. Evil guitars...real bad. Better lyrics would have made this song better. Also if the ending had more vocals...no vocals for a while before the song ends. Well I'm done. 10 stars and 10/10 on the comedy factor of roots. Good job CreepingDan on the music. 5 vote too.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Haha, thanks a lot, man. Glad you enjoyed it. I did forget to mention that this was a song originally done by Sepultura. You can youtube it. Pretty sweet. Thanks for the awesome review and vote!\m/

Cool

The beginning was pretty poor. Very simple pattern was used, however, the song jumps into something with more energy. The simple pattern continues, but at least you got a cool sample playing now. I don't know if it is one of the basses or the kick, but sometimes one just blurts out too loudly that distortion occurs. Maybe it's my bad computer that is doing it. Overall a nice trance to listen to. I like the panorama going on. I'll give you a 9 star rate and a 5/5 vote cause this was a 2 person effort. Tell jala-fox to come visit my audio page. I recently posted a new 7 min. song. Oh and if you want, you can check it out too. Bye for now and good job.

Dj-UnKnOwN responds:

YAY! A MUSIC-STORY REVIEW! heh thanks for the review. yeah i didn't like the just the bass in the beginning, but it did work out alright. The distortion was the fruity free filter on the kick, heh it's not your computer, surprised you heard that, it was kind of subtle :-P Thanks for teh 5 =)

I'll definatly tell jalafox to give you a listen, and i will too :P
Thanks again for the review, Dj-unknown

Woah? Lots of ppl heard this song already.

You managed to keep up with your revs! The drum cymbals sound really nice. Piano sounds good too. Not sure about the guitar. A bit too distorted to hear clearly throughout. Hmm reading your discription and confused on what you mean by rhodes. Again has a clam feeling. Very atmosphery and soft. Piano seems to be repeating the same composition. Oh well, I'll stop here. You already got enough comments by your other 72 reviews that I'm probably repeating what you heard already. 5 vote and sure a 10 star count. Bye for now.

Oh did I?

Well I'm glad I could be of "indirect" help to you. Not sure if this is like wedding music. Maybe for a reception, but song is too long to dance too. Well the song repeats for a long time. Somehow even if it repeats, (and I tend not to be too fond of repetitive songs) the song sounds very calm...almost like it has to repeat to get you in a soothing mood. I don't think this song is happier, just more relaxing. Kinda like your other ambient songs. I like the exotic percussion you used very rarely in this song. (not talking about the drums and cymbals) . The drum pattern is nice. I like how you put 2 cymbal clashes at the end of the drum loop. At 1:43 the drums remain the same except no 2 cymbal clashes anymore. Was that something you intentionally did as a way to indicate a near ending of the drums and into a new section? The bright bass sounds a bit funny. A very long ending to this song. That last instrument that ends the song sounds eerie. Good long ambient song. Some extra themes would be better. This song reminds me of ice caverns. 9 stars and 5 vote. Bye for now.

Buoy responds:

It's not lots of wedding music but the dancy organ thingy made it sound like that to me. And ya, I know what you mean with the exotic thing, I use it through the whole song, though it isn't too present in the main part. I know the ending is pretty long, I need to change that sometime. Thanks for the review!

Yeah now this is fun

Lots of heaven stuff at the start. Song calms done and has again a happy instrument leading. Maybe you stretched out the calm part too long. Not much changed happened there. The last section of the song seems to be now a combination of the beginning section and the calm part. May need some extra musical themes, but I like the energy and happy feeling listening to this. I actually checked this song after seeing a rev. you made to another to check out your stuff. Likewise I'll do the same. Check out my new song and listen to whole thing. Bye for now and good job to dagraham and telenova.

Nyth-Pinank responds:

Ya man, I am glad you liked how it went from being happy to slow and then happy again. I tried to make it as much repetitive as possible. But then I was thinking of combing the beginning piano solo towards the end of the song, to put it all together. I appreciate that you actually read another review of mine and reviewed my song. That means a lot to me. I will def check out your song.

Take care =)

I'll rev. this one

HHC yep. Like the piano. The bass trance sounds rather generic. At 0:42 that synth sounds generic too. I think "twilight techno" and cormandbean's song used that one before. Lots of energy in this which I like. I'm not tired listening to this music. 1:45 a nice bass n kick. The composition sounds rather basic here. Still love that piano...I think you have choir backing up the piano? A decent ending. I give you 9/10 rev. cause I think you could have done better with the instrument modifications. 5/5 vote of course. Need your opinion for a new song of mine. Listen to whole thing. Bye for now.

I think: "lol."

Happy carnival style.

Good piano playing. An impressive composition indeed. The flute is nice too. The piano gets really repetitive. Maybe change it up more. The trumpet seems to be overpowered by the piano and flute. Overall I like happy stuff so a 5/5 vote and 9/10 stars. Bye for now.

WritersBlock responds:

Yeah, I haven't changed the piano at all throughout the song, so that's why I added the trumpet to fill out the bass a bit. Also, the piano has a syncopation that really makes the song what it is, so I kept it above the rumpets, but I wanted the flute to stand out heaps, as it carried the melody. The trumpets don't really change at all, so I didn't find it necessary to highlight that.
Thanks for the 5/5, 9/10 and review.

Umm..

No comment except I must be fair in rating. 8/10 on the start...song got better later so I raise to 9/10. Song went downhill near end so 8/10. Needs a bit more organization...nah alot more. Funny song to listen to though. Your song has a higher score than my new song so well done. :) Bye for now.

Jebbal responds:

lol It wasn't supposed to be organized! It was supposed to be completely random and flabbergasting! 8/10 is probably more than I'd have given it though, so thanks. =) Above anything else, it was only meant to be good for a laugh.

Greedy Aptitude is amazing dude, just need to say that again! It very much deserves a higher score!

Has a disco flavour

Sounds like the ol disco tech. Somewhat repetitive. Why were you worried at the time you made this? Anyway, your fx was very brief. Needs more special effects to keep the song exciting. Not too much is going on diverse wise, but the song is calm...something like lounge music to chill too. 5/5 vote cause I notice your also getting much better and a 9/10 star rating. Bye for now.

Childish, yet fun

You used some happy sounds. Jungle exotic instruments good for the donkey kong theme. Did you use steel drums? I didn't recognize any. Somewhat repetitive and that lead instrument got a bit annoying since it was basically present in the entire song. The ending has a mild climax. A bit more dramatic finish would be better. One of your less hardcore audio project which proves your versatile in making all kinds of musical themes. I'll wait for your next project. 9 stars and 5 vote. Bye for now.
