Funky stuff

It's like the 80s all over again. Disco tech :) I was surprised when you used a violin like sound. Gave it the classical moody spinoff with disco. That's a first for me to hear. It's a pretty good song and the electronic sounds are very obvious. I would say the start of the song was the best. When that whiny like synth came in, well it didn't sound so cool. I see with the violins your like ascending upwards. I do that like too many times in my songs. It fits so well in all kinds of songs for some funny reason. Overall a 5/5 and sure take the 10. I guess 10 on diversity since you changed up the lead synths mostly throughout the song. Bye for now

Hello

Thought you left NG or something. So you spent 2 months making this song or preoccupied with other stuff? This reminds me of video game music. Lots of flute here. Quite peaceful and that other sound (not the flute) has that almost baroque era feel to it. Interesting use of the drum loop. You moved away from the common kick clap loop. Now it's kick and hit sticks together? So what game could this fit in? Maybe a medieval based game where your walking around the market fair like in chrono cross. This is your best song so far that I've heard. Your instrument choices are well mastered and the composition seems to be alot more difficult than your space boy series. Keep the good work coming. 5/5 and 10/10. GL on someone using this song in their flash. Looks like it might be used. Good for flash.

Isn't your fairy wing song also trance? So this song has a quick beat and a bit atmosphery in some parts. That's some cool stuff you did to a flute. Spacy futuristic flute and almost piccolo sounding. What's zasyyt? That weird sound at the start of the song almost sounds like something is saying meow but really Neow. I don't know if the past reviewer quarl noticed it too since he started with the word meow. :) Anyway your recent songs are quite unique and strange. I like the originality. You got your own personal style like everyone else on NG, but yours is just alot more easier to notice. Keep it up and take my 5. Here is a 10 review too.

The emptiness

Hey is that like your title signature now with the whole ==( )== thing going on? This song feels like I'm in the amazon on a sunny day with a slight wind chill. Not too much is going on, but I guess it worked out to bring the nature view. So quite a peaceful song. I have heard songs like this in movies so this can work good for movies. For some reason this song also gives me images of aboriginals communicating with nature. Good stuff. Not much to really say. I didn't notice the panning of the flute but you said there was so I guess my speakers are just screwed up. Okay so take my 5 and I'll see you around later. Bye for now

Umm very late review

Wow this song is old. You took a 4 month break? I just started 4 months ago on NG so this feels like such a late review to your 2nd latest song. Has a bit of a sad tone. Matches the crappy weather I'm getting here. Raining everyday here. :( I don't know about the terror part...but I can see how the mystery flavour fits in. I would call this a mini music story. This is just a demo so I think your full version will be pretty cool. 4 months of further preparation is a good chunk of time to make this into a masterpiece. GL with that. I agree with karco on the atmosphery stuff. I like it which reminds me....I still have to finish my ambience song for karco. Okay so you proven a point about diversity because you want to use this in a game. I don't see a sunken ship but what I do see is someone creeping through a dark empty room with the grandfather clock ticking. (during the minor parts of the piano playing) What or who else is in that room? The suspense :)
Okay so have fun finishing this and your other preview song. The 10/10 is for the final version so you just get the 9 for now. Bye for now

Hah this is some happy fast hardcore. The background support repeats a bit but it so happy and jumpy. Who cares about diversity on this one. So cheesy but I'm wide awake. Forget coffee. Just listen to this with your speakers up and that's a jolt that can last the whole day. Sweet. I can't go all happy hardcore. Maybe just happy or mellow.
Overall a 5/5 and 10/10 for the song being so cheesy it makes me happy. Oh I give you good effort mainly for frickin almost killing yourself by raising your blood sugar level way over the normal 5 millimolar amount. Your pancrease beta cells must be in serious pain! Bye for now

Rev of your latest

So you made the drums? No drum loops? Wow that's impressive. I only make like one drum loop in my songs and the rest are just prerecorded loops. Piano in here. It's a first for me to hear piano in dnb but not sure if it is a rare thing. I have not reviewed too many dnb to actually know. Anyway the drums are quite fast. This song kinda has a sad feeling to it. I think I hear the flute. Overall the atmosphery parts really helped this song out. I like atmosphery stuff and piano too so 5/5 votee and 9/10 review. I've heard better dnb but never as unique like this one. Sorry can't really give much suggestions since dnb isn't something I have enough knowledge in. Maybe change drums up more often. Okay bye for now

House review

Have not reviewed this genre for a very long time. Well it is noisy, that I can tell you. The drums sound good. The clanging of whatever that instrument is...is that you playing it via midi or is that a drum loop? Briefly it reminds me of ppl hitting the cow bell at sporting events as loud as they can. The bass is nice too. Is house supposed to have a common pattern through the entire song? It has some decent diversity, but if house is supposed to be repetitive than I guess good job. Again I know nothing about what makes good house music. I get what you mean by the end getting slick. I like that guitar sounding instrument you use. So just to be safe I'll give you straight 10 across. Once I review more house songs I can give you a better review. 5/5 vote too. Bye for now

well i think that for judging a genre you shouldnt need to follow any cookbook "what makes agood track" ideas, jst go with what sounds good, what sounds interesitng, and maybe ull find what actually is cool and interesting to ya, cuz otherwise ur stifling creativity by stereotypin music... so w.evs thanx for the rev!! :D

Can you be the first to tell me what this mac7 competition is? I'd like to know. Thanks. This song is weird yet good. Those special effects sound really cool. Short but sweet. The only complaint is that I didn't like that fx sound at the beginning of the song (heck that could be a software instrument...I don't know you composed it :) ) Hard to explain which one but it is not the whiny sound. I liked that one. Besides that the climax of the song is simple amazing. Gets me all jumpy and like I'm watching a chase scene in a movie. Good stuff for not even trying that hard. 5/5 and 9/10. I gotta be fair...there are some crazy dnb out there so I compare them to yours which gets a 9. Keep the good stuff coming. Bye for now
