Isn't your fairy wing song also trance? So this song has a quick beat and a bit atmosphery in some parts. That's some cool stuff you did to a flute. Spacy futuristic flute and almost piccolo sounding. What's zasyyt? That weird sound at the start of the song almost sounds like something is saying meow but really Neow. I don't know if the past reviewer quarl noticed it too since he started with the word meow. :) Anyway your recent songs are quite unique and strange. I like the originality. You got your own personal style like everyone else on NG, but yours is just alot more easier to notice. Keep it up and take my 5. Here is a 10 review too.

The emptiness

Hey is that like your title signature now with the whole ==( )== thing going on? This song feels like I'm in the amazon on a sunny day with a slight wind chill. Not too much is going on, but I guess it worked out to bring the nature view. So quite a peaceful song. I have heard songs like this in movies so this can work good for movies. For some reason this song also gives me images of aboriginals communicating with nature. Good stuff. Not much to really say. I didn't notice the panning of the flute but you said there was so I guess my speakers are just screwed up. Okay so take my 5 and I'll see you around later. Bye for now

==(Song Name)== is just a tag I use for two reasons, people will see it's one of my tracks if they remember me and see the song, and I don't need to change the name if it's used already without the tag

Umm very late review

Wow this song is old. You took a 4 month break? I just started 4 months ago on NG so this feels like such a late review to your 2nd latest song. Has a bit of a sad tone. Matches the crappy weather I'm getting here. Raining everyday here. :( I don't know about the terror part...but I can see how the mystery flavour fits in. I would call this a mini music story. This is just a demo so I think your full version will be pretty cool. 4 months of further preparation is a good chunk of time to make this into a masterpiece. GL with that. I agree with karco on the atmosphery stuff. I like it which reminds me....I still have to finish my ambience song for karco. Okay so you proven a point about diversity because you want to use this in a game. I don't see a sunken ship but what I do see is someone creeping through a dark empty room with the grandfather clock ticking. (during the minor parts of the piano playing) What or who else is in that room? The suspense :)
Okay so have fun finishing this and your other preview song. The 10/10 is for the final version so you just get the 9 for now. Bye for now

The terror part is more about how you percieve it... I personally see a slow crawl through a creaking ghost ship.. But that's just me. Come back soon when I submit my next one :D

House review

Have not reviewed this genre for a very long time. Well it is noisy, that I can tell you. The drums sound good. The clanging of whatever that instrument is...is that you playing it via midi or is that a drum loop? Briefly it reminds me of ppl hitting the cow bell at sporting events as loud as they can. The bass is nice too. Is house supposed to have a common pattern through the entire song? It has some decent diversity, but if house is supposed to be repetitive than I guess good job. Again I know nothing about what makes good house music. I get what you mean by the end getting slick. I like that guitar sounding instrument you use. So just to be safe I'll give you straight 10 across. Once I review more house songs I can give you a better review. 5/5 vote too. Bye for now

well i think that for judging a genre you shouldnt need to follow any cookbook "what makes agood track" ideas, jst go with what sounds good, what sounds interesitng, and maybe ull find what actually is cool and interesting to ya, cuz otherwise ur stifling creativity by stereotypin music... so w.evs thanx for the rev!! :D

I know more bout classical

For sure a suspense scene. Those quick violins really bring out the mood along with the cymbal crashes. I know alot more bout classical than trance and techno so yah. :) You said you were just doing an experimental with this song from your previous review. I really think you should finish this....why stop a good thing? Most of the song is great. I agree with some of the previous reviewer advice to you except the reverb. I like the sharp notes and I guess the unflowing quality. Anyway if you do continue to make this a full song than that's good. You don't make too many classicals so this is quite impressive skill you got here. Multi-talented in many genres. I can only do dance :( . Oh well so 5/5 and 10. Bye for now

Classic

Sorry I'm not a final fantasy fan. However I think you did a good job remixing this song. Do you just by ear play the notes replicating the original song? If so you got a good ear to come up with this. You did a great job in mastering this track. Everything sounds so clear and the panning going on is nice too. The only problem is the fade out. Sure its a good way to end a song but the easy way out. If you could make a ending that well ends instead of just drowns out then that would be better. Okay so 5/5 and 9/10 review. Bye for now

Thanks for the review. =3 Yes, I did this by memory, more or less. I wanted to get the main instruments almost identical to the original game's, but then had fun updating the other portion.

I'm not good at endings, unfortunately, so hence the fade-out. I agree, it's not the best method of ending a tune, and perhaps it's something I should work on. =3

That trancy bass remind of of another song

I heard that trancy synth sound and rhythm in another trance song. Can't think of it at the moment. I enjoy the piano playing. Too bad it is playing the exact same notes as the trancy synth. You could change the harmonies instead of all 3 playing the same notes. If they aren't (maybe my ears just suck today) than you could at least change the rhythm of each. I'm sure your gonna finish this song up and I think you should too. Has some nice pads and the beat in jumpy. So that is my suggestion. Add some variety and it will be better. 5/5 and 9/10 rev. I plan to add another real melody in there. But the three lead instruments (piano, synth, and saw) are playing similiar melodies so that they compliment eachother. ^^

I need to fiddle around with the bass a bit more.. I didn't know this melody was similiar to another trance song.. But I'm not surprised, there are plenty of 'em out there :P

And the drums need some fine-tuning. But other than that, I'm pretty hapy with it's direction.. I really like the piano myself. Thanks a lot for the review Music-story! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! ^^

So is this a remix or your complete new stuff. Anyway I think that's really cool you got signed. I hope some of my reviews helped you out in improving leading to getting signed. This song reminds me of that song...."quasar" Yeah alot different tune but the atmospheric spacy mood is similar. So are you going to continue putting music on AP or does the company you sign with restrict you from sharing with us? As always you are a good remix artist...am still waiting for you to show me how great of a trance artist (non remix) you can be. Hope your having a blast with your new job. May I ask which company signed you or is that too personal of a question? Sorry if it is. Okay so suggestion is quicker transition into the new stuff. This is the clubedit, the radioedit gets to the point faster, and i knew that was a problem, but you have to have repetitive long tracks too, and these are the only tracks my label permits me to submit.

Umm january 24 2007....(looks at date you submitted this song...hmmm april 28 2007 not matching) Okay so to your song. This gots some nice synths. Lots of stuff is going on. Wow this is some great stuff. I sense a few pattern changes throughout. Sure some parts repeat but not a biggie. You keep changing one thing quickly that it never gets bored. Kudos for a fine job. Love the bass in that one section of the song. I also like that atmosphery sound. You gotta make more dance music. Forget the other genres and make more dance. :) 5/5 and 10/10. Bye for now.

As for the name, i always seem to have issues coming up with a decent title for a track, so i just uploaded it and titled it as the day it was created. On the flipcyde tho, what would you name this track? just curious. And thanks again for the feedback....
