Something new on trance. Yah!

Finally someone who didn't use that low sounding beat that so many trance songs on NG use. And wow you don't got that clapping loop going which is also evident in soo many trance songs on NG. You are different which is a very good thing. Love your drums. Guess what??? their different too from all the other trance songs on NG. Man...I'm repeating myself too many times :) Piano too...great! I love piano. So this trance song isn't as fast as the other trance songs, but I like slower songs anyway. Too short though. Make longer. So overall a 5/5 voting and 9/10 review. The length of the song really killed the 10/10. Keep the originality going. Bye for now.

???Coincidence?

I was just reviewing a bunch of the new submissions. See for yourself. Suddenly your song appears and I'm like okay might as well review. You say techno-ey but you put the song in trance? Your song is unique for sure. Some loud sounds to add to the madness. The percussion is nice but kinda sounds soft for such a "mad" like song. I think one part of the song is maybe a bit off timed but ever so slightly. No biggie. I'm trying to hear the diversity going on. Some gameboy like sounds. I like how you start slow than go fast, slow down again...etc. That is a diverse factor. I think the fast parts of the song sound similar. The slow parts are good, but I think I heard the song do a loop where the same soft part again after the fast part. So overall a 5/5 and you have done it again in making the dark sounds. You just added a twist by making it mad now. :) Where is the amazing guitar from your previous song? :( I miss it. Okay bye for now

Umm yeah loops

Well I guess it took a lot of effort slicing all these loops. However it isn't your own composition. Just bunch of cut up loops. Hmm. I was expecting a classical like song since you put "in D minor" I like the drums. It repeats a bit, but I noticed you added a violin. You change the pitch sound but it sounds like the same rhythm. So still kindof repetitive. Minor changes are seen but not enough to make a big impression. So umm if I'm wrong about you just using loops plz tell me. I just thought that cause your description said that. So sorry if I made any mis-assumptions. So 5/5 voting and bye for now

Yes fast song. Now question....tell me what notes you played with that really fast piano sound (is that a piano?harpsichord? heck you know what I mean) or is that just a ddl sample? Plz give me the notes cause I want to use that piano like sound in my next song. I'm just gonna slow it down alot more when I play it on the keyboard. So I'm a bit ify on whether you composed this entire song are just took a bunch of samples while you did the easier stuff. Prove me wrong by giving me the notes used. :) Thanks and overall a great song no doubt. 5/5 voting. Bye for now

I used a soundfont for the piano... I got it at hammersount.net if you want it, it's relatively large. I used my midi keyboard (while recording at a slower tempo) for the leads, which after I quantized. I also layered a saw over it.

I think you want the sound more than the notes... I wrote all of the individual notes, if that's what you wanted to know.

LOL what's with video game music and mortal kombat shao kahn laugh? Well I say right now it didn't really fit with the song. I can see how you had fun with this song. Ends very ackward too. So the song is crazy no doubt. Maybe more order in the song. So 11/10 on the fun factor and 5/5 voting. Bye for now

Late review

Heavy metal....great guitar. Oh that distorted high pitch sound is awesome. I wish song was longer. The drums are kinda overpowered by the other instruments which I think was intentional. This is all your playing correct? You got a good microphone to record all this. My mic sucks so I can never add vox or record directly from my keyboard. Not much else to say...short song = short review. 5/5 voting raising your score of 4.31/5. Your good with the heavy metal genre. Keep it up and bye for now.

I read bits of your other reviewer comments...I won't say that evil word in this review. I think troposhere is some area in the atmosphere..the highest part of the atmosphere around the earth I think? So you add in of course the atmospheric synths. I like that background synth that has that rising up feel. I think you said in the previous review that you wanted this song in trance....cause video game genre is not evident here. I can see how this can be a 5 part series. Lots of space feeling. Like I'm travelling through space or something. So you nailed the atmosphere feeling, but wish it could pick up into something new. Maybe part 2 will do that. How many sounds did you use in this song? I sense 4, but could be wrong. (not counting the drums) Overall a 5/5 voting (your prev score was 3.33) and a 9/10 review. Since you wanted this in trance I will give you 10/10 diversity...opps said the word. :) Bye for now

Hah, thanks... I've had plenty of people all over me on diversity today. Nice to see someone giving me a break... though I don't really deserve it. >_< Anyway... no, Troposphere is actually the lowest part of the atmosphere.

A background synth? You're talking about a pad... with a rising-up feel? Exactly what I was trying to get. :D

It's going to be a five-part multigenre song... it's supposed to fit together as one but obviously it's going to be big if this is the standard size of one song. But I can't give away too much... ;) I can say that it'll take me an enormous amount of time to finish this, though... and I plan to. >:)

Nothing else to add... I'm not going to go check to be sure but I'm guessing that at most there were indeed four synths in the song.

Review attempt 2

I don't like your song. It froze my computer when I was listening to it and I was almost done my review to you. Now I have to start all over. :) Okay yeah I blame my computer :smacks it: So the beginning beat seems to drag on for a bit too long. This feels almost like trance. Buildup check. Yeah that one organ sounding synth doesn't fit in this song. I wish your song was more action packed. You seem to repeat the same pattern twice in the song. I think the ending of the song is funny. Ends weird So overall I'll give you a 5/5 voting. Suggestions? I would like diversity (I give trance and techno all 10/10 diversity anyway) and more action. Your buildup was nice but after that, the song slowed down for quite some time. That's all I have and enjoy making music. Bye for now

Review

No another rave artist. :) I was hoping more would try to go for the happy tunes. Well you got some tough competition with zero bass's raves. Some good synths used. When you add that louder synth sound it caught me off guard. It seems to repeat a lot. Maybe that's just how raves are. Did you finish this song in 1 day? Quite a feat to finish a full length song that quick. So overall a 5/5 voting. I would really like some more diversity compostion wise rather than just changing the synths. Your way better than I am making rave songs so good for you. Right track so far. Bye for now

Uhh lol

You love making lyrical dance music. Only problem is that your lyrics are usually messed up. Make some good lyrics and now we got ourselves a real special dance song on NG. Also like your other songs, your transitions are abrupt. You also love to use that one special effect in all your songs. You usually use that special effect when you transition. You used southpark character voices so that's a original factor. So 5/5 voting. Bye for now
